South Korea

South Korea is located in Eastern Asia, southern half of the Korean Peninsula bordering the Sea of Japan and the Yellow Sea. South Korea is a country swathed in green, prodding its stony fingers skyward, and the Koreans are a people obsessed with nature, and with mountains in particular. South Korea's economy was traditionally based on agriculture but experienced extraordinarily rapid industrialization beginning in the early 1960s. South Korea grew from one of the world's poorest countries to one of its most promising industrial powers.
